Online Training

Free, online training for Ohio security guards and private investigators. These courses were created by PISGS and the Ohio Private Investigation and Security Services Commission, an advisory panel of security and private investigation professionals, and law enforcement officials.

Each course takes about 45 minutes and you will receive a certificate for successful completion.

• Module 1: Role of a Security Guard and Private Investigator (Course ID: WBT600)
• Module 2: Access Control (Course ID: WBT601)
• Module 3: Ethics and Conduct (Course ID: WBT602)

To access these courses, you need a Public Safety Training Campus (PSTC) account:

• If you already have an account, click HERE to login and enroll in the course by Course ID#
• If you need to create an account, follow the steps under Training Accounts, and then login to enroll in the course.
